HiC, Hard Chrome Plating, And Chromium Plating: Highly Corrosion Resistant, Wear Resistant, And Salt Water Resistance.

At our company, we suggest to our valued customers to use high corrosion resistance chromium plating (HiC) as a replacement of conventional chromium plating. This plating is differing from any other plating in which it can be used for both decorative flash and thick chromium plating. Usual flash plating layer thickness is 0.2~0.5μm; however, HiC plating thickness can be controlled while used in a mass production line. Each year, the number of hard chromium plating companies is decreasing. In some cases, they may have the ability to chromium plate products but do not have the ability to handle mass amount. Unlike those companies, we have his ready to be used and having the ability to handle 1/lot ~ million or a few million/ lot. As a side note, HiC is highly tolerance against salt water (sea water). □45h CASStesting with rating of No.95 is available. □Since the plating hardness is over 1000Hv, it has great abrasive resistance (tested within our facility). □Can be used as a replacement of conventional hard chromium plating. □Since it is strong against salt water, it can be applied to motor boats, fishing equipment, marine leisure related, etc. □Since the plating thickness can be controlled, it provides flexible designing. □Can be applied to travelling bags, suitcases, and any other products that are meant to be used for a long period of time. HiC is differing from conventional hexavalent chromium in the way that it was introduced with the idea of improving plating environment to help those plating technicians.
