This is a dome-shaped aerosol can top blanked with a metal stamping press.

This was for a special order for a high-speed transfer press which we sold as a complete system including the transfer equipment, the high-speed sheet feeder, and the transfer dies.

[Features]
- In order to produce this aerosol top, a T-2.5 tinplate (0.36mm thickness) material is set on the sheet feeder which automatically supplies it to the transfer press where it is blanked, drawn (4 operations), trimmed, center-pierced, and has its 1 inch curled section drawn throughout 7 operations.
- The 1 inch curled section has a precision requirement of ±0.1mm
- Each die of every station is manufactured with a high precision, thanks to which there is no need to redo the die positioning when a die change is done, making the maintenance process easier.
- Mirror-like lapping is applied on many surfaces in order to improve the drawing performance of the dies.
