Our manufacturing centers in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City and tỉnh Bình Dương) started mass production services for die castings and die casting dies(moulds) from July 2010. At present, our equipment base includes 10 machines for aluminum die casting, 3 zinc die casting machines, as well as one die casting die manufacturing system. And, in order to continue to expand our manufacturing base to support the global supply needs of our customers, we are making arrangements to develop our equipment line even further. Aluminum die casting [Automotive parts, 2-wheel parts, general parts and office machine parts, etc.] ◆ Features The most commonly used die casting is aluminum alloy. This light and strong alloy has excellent corrosion resistant properties and is widely used in applications for various fields. ◆ Iwaki Diecast’s aluminum die casting production system We use a launder system, which enables us to always supply clean raw materials, when feeding the molten metal from the melting furnace to the holding furnace. The scrap material, which is generated during trimming, is returned to the melting furnace via an underground conveyor. Our casting equipment is automated featuring a unique manufacturing method that is both highly productive and very safe. It produces a smooth surface with a minimal number of blowholes. ◆ Melting process • Our melting is centralized with high thermal efficiency. • The molten metal is poured into the holding furnace using launders (troughs) and porters. • We supply clean molten metal with minimal temperature difference by using an electric furnace. ◆ Casting process • Our own automated and systematized facilities enable us to automate processes up to the separation of gates. • Our die temperature control enables us to make products of consistent quality. • Our management system CAMOS allows us to visually monitor the production status. ◆ Main usages Automotive parts, 2-wheel parts, general parts and office machine parts, etc.

"OOPARTS-002" is a vase that expresses the beauty of metal in aluminum by carving it out of a solid block, shining beautifully and delicately in response to light, making flowers and plants look beautiful. The capitals and bodies of columns used in ancient architecture express the strength of plants that continue to grow toward the sky by carving the shapes of plants. In addition, grooves called fluting are carved into the surface of the pillars, and their light and shadows amplify the three-dimensional effect of the pillars, emphasizing the verticality as well as the graceful rhythm. "OOPARTS-002" inherits that spirit, and by cutting out aluminum to have cutting marks like fluting, instead of carved plants in ancient columns, the actual flowers are accentuated. The cutting marks of the end mill are used as they are for the surface pattern, and it shines beautifully when it receives light. This cutting mark is made using 5-axis machining, which is simple but suppresses chattering of the end mill and is processed while adjusting the angle that shines most beautifully.
